DIY art event takes over The Art Studio

More than 100 people came through the doors of The Art Studio, Inc., Feb. 4, for a “Party-cipation 2.0,” a do-it-yourself arts day. Organizer Terri Fox and the education staff of the Stark Museum of Art in Orange teamed up with TASI for the event. Participants were encouraged to make art along four themes — love, hate, environment and community. Activities included printmaking, painting, collage from recycled materials — in fact, anything the artists could think of. Participants ranged from young to old and a good time was had by all. The results of the workshop formed the February art installation in The Studio’s gallery.
