For centuries, humans have been fascinated by the mysteries of the universe, driving us to venture beyond our planet and explore unknown environments beyond our solar system. In today’s world, the question of why we should embark on space exploration voyages goes beyond mere curiosity.

Ultimately, space exploration is a necessity with wide-ranging implications. It’s not just an endeavor; instead, it involves both intrinsic and extrinsic benefits to humanity.

Just as exploring the unknown is vital to our humanity, having a space to express oneself is crucial and highly encouraged. The Art Studio Inc.’s annual fundraising gala creates the space for creativity, individuality, and artistry.

Self-expression through fashion is highly encouraged at the Beaux Arts Ball, whether you’re wearing your finest formals, vintage interpretations, or full on costumes. Guests wishing to show off their outfits at the Ball will be invited to strut across the dance floor during the GRAND PROMENADE starting at 8pm. As always, there is an optional costume theme, but it is not a requirement to attend – feel free to dress in your own preferred level of formals.

Dance party provided by DJ JSTRO with live performances by Olivia Gardner, Wanda Lust, and Ramona Young. Enjoy the donation-based bar service with beverages provided by Del Papa Distributing and indulge in a delectable selection of heavy hors d’oeuvres provided by local eateries including Tacos La Bamba, Elena’s Mexican Restaurant, and Carniceria La Vaquita #5. Visit the photo studio on site where complimentary portraits will be provided by Briann Bly Photography. Silent auction of curated artworks will be available for bidding until 10pm, featuring selections from the personal collection of the late Carlo Busceme III.

Since its founding in 1983, the non-profit The Art Studio, Inc. has filled a unique niche in the community by providing affordable studio space for artists, educational programs for all ages, and free exhibitions where anyone can engage with art and artists. The Beaux Arts Ball provides an additional avenue to encourage creative expression, something that has always been at the core of the Studio’s mission. Funds raised at this event will help continue its crucial work bringing the arts to Southeast Texas.
