TASI is taking applications for new, local artists to exhibit for the upcoming POP UP series, March 2020 and exhibits in 2021. We are looking for innovative new work, that defies traditional norms. We want to identify active artists in Southeast Texas. All ages and levels of artists are welcome.
Send: Name, Address, Resume with Artist Statement, and Photo of at least 10 examples of your work. Photos of work must show dimensions, media and process. All work must be original to the artist.

Work will be reviewed by committee and will respond within a few weeks.
If accepted to exhibit at The Art Studio, Inc:
1. Work must be ready to hang. Framed or matted, it must have wire across the back or other means by which to be hung by one hook on the wall. Sculpture must be stable and stand on its own.
2. COMPLETELY fill out an Entry Application and an Entry Label for EACH PIECE you are entering (Up to 2). Cut out the Entry Application and turn it in to the office. Cut out the Entry Label (remember, one for each piece!) and firmly attach to your artwork; the LOWER BACK of 2-D work or the BOTTOM of 3-D artwork.
3. Please indicate your name, title, medium and price. if your work is not for sale simply put NFS. Do not write POR (price on request). Write legibly or have someone write legibly for you.
4. If work sells it MUST remain in the gallery until the end of the show. All work is expected to stay in the gallery until the end of the exhibition. TASI takes a 25% commission of all sales, so price your work with this in mind. All transactions will be conducted by the Art Studio, In. sales tax is collected at the time of the sale. (It’s the law!)
5. All work is presented “at your own risk” as the studio has no insurance for the protection of art. All precautions will be taken to protect the art but we are not responsible for loss or damage of your work. Your entry into the show implies your agreement with these guidelines.
