The annual Praying Mantis Pop Surrealist Festival is set for 2 p.m. April 14 to 2 a.m. April 15 at 2555 Jirou St. in Beaumont.
Admission is free but a $5 donation is suggested to cover overhead, travel expenses for performers and sound. Attendees are encouraged to tip the performers.
This year’s theme is “Mythical Creatures and Bugs” — mermaids, fairies, butterflies, bees, mantis and more.
The event features music and performance arts, as well as all manner of arts and crafts in an atmosphere of fun, peace and creativity.
