We’re all in the soup – collectively separate as we navigate our personal spaces within the public sphere, merely trying to understand place and purpose.
Who are we within these spaces, none of these spaces, or those private spaces we hold near and dear to our hearts?
My work is raw and
immediate with very little planning or forethought. Lunatic Fringe is a collection of pieces that I
created during a very dark period in my life.

I love the rush of creating something in pen and having to work through any mistakes you make. I also love the layers of watercolor, and the patience it takes is vital. Going back and forth between these mediums was exciting, and I really enjoyed creating this show.
“The works are an eclectic variety of mixed media with no particular theme except history and my personal history,” Goodman said.
The title of the exhibition comes from a New Orleans red-light district of the same name between 1897 and 1917
