Interested in trying drag, or just need a little boost in your makeup game? Learn all the tips, tricks, and techniques to transform into a fabulous queen for a day. Houston-based drag artist Opalia Sinn will teach a lesson on stage-ready makeup that anyone can have fun doing. See the recommended supply list on Amazon below, or bring whatever you already have in your makeup kit. Small mirrors will be provided, but students are welcome to bring their own.

Learn all the basics of painting from still life as well as color theory and everything in between with your instructor Virginia Johnson. This class is designed for beginners to intermediates in the art of painting, ages 18 and up. Students will be practicing with acrylics on paper and canvas. Recommended to bring an apron or clothes you don’t mind getting stained.

Join instructor Karey Richard for an inclusive art lesson! Participate in adaptive art projects that anyone can enjoy, created especially for budding artists with special needs, and their siblings! Feel free to contact us in advance to prepare for any specific needs or adaptive tools that would be especially helpful. All students must be accompanied by a parent or guardian for the duration of the class. All ages 8+.

During the four sessions over two weekends, photographer James Blaign Rambo will teach beginner-level students the ins and outs of using a film camera, developing images in the darkroom, and printing black and white photographs. The class includes an outing to capture photos outdoors and students will keep their own prints as well as digital scans of their photographs. Chemicals will stain clothes, please dress accordingly. Ages 18+ only.

Do you have a teen with a serious desire to make art? This six-session course will provide essential lessons in ceramics to introduce your young person to essential know-how including handbuilding techniques in clay, the science of glazing, and a live raku firing experience! Over the course of three two-hour sessions, adult students from beginner and intermediate levels will hone the basics and sharpen their art skills using pencils, graphite, and charcoal with a focus on drawing the human figure.
