Beaumont Community Players has set its line-up of shows for their 2018-2019 season and subscriptions and single tickets are now on sale.

The season kicks off with the classic musical “Kiss Me Kate” in September and ends in May with the popular “La Cage aux Folles”. The six other titles include a slew of Pulitzer Prize and Tony Award winners; “Calendar Girls,” “Intimate Apparel,” “Harvey,” “Disaster: The Musical” and two offerings over the holiday season; “Every Christmas Ever Told” and the return of “Scrooge: The Musical.”

“Since arriving in Texas just before Thanksgiving I have been amazed every single day by the resilience and strength of this community and that is why we are calling this our BCP TEXAS STRONG SEASON,” executive director John Manfredi said. “Only in the Golden Triangle could we produce a play titled ‘Harvey’ and a musical about disasters the season after Hurricane Harvey. This is a very strong season with something for every member of the family.”

The eight-show season is an expansion of programming at BCP giving subscribers their choice of two shows over the Holiday Season as well as flex ticket packages and other subscriber benefits. A season subscription to BCP can be purchased for as little as $125 making it one of the most enticing and affordable entertainment values in Southeast Texas, Manfredi said. Season packages can be purchased by calling 409-833-4664 or visiting beaumontcommunityplayers.com.

“Don’t miss a single moment of the #BCPTEXASSTRONG Season,” Manfredi said.
